Mattioli Flies Retriever Jig Tan

This take on the original Golden Retriever Fly is highly effective. Commercially tied with a tungsten bead and tactical jig hook with high quality marabou, red thread, and a short flashy body wrap. Please note this fly is not tied with estaz but a similar material with flash and a micro fiber that is very buggy looking. The sparse nature of this fly will get down quick. An excellent pattern to as an anchor fly on a euro setup, fished under an indicator, or jigged and stripped like a streamer. You almost can’t fish it wrong!!
